Volunteering positions available
Outdoor paddock and animal volunteer:
This role is animal facing, it includes poo picking outdoor paddocks, cleaning water troughs, grooming animals, cleaning outdoor housing and shelters and providing enrichment for the animals. Animals include horses, ponies, alpaca’s, goats, wallabies and donkey’s. No interaction with visitors required. Available any day of the week, hours can be anything from 8:30am – 5pm.
Indoor large animal barn volunteer:
This role is more customer facing. It would include being in our large animal barn throughout the day, keeping the public areas tidy, answering questions and ensuring the animals remain happy and healthy throughout the day. It was also include cleaning the water troughs, providing enrichment, grooming the animals and disinfecting public areas throughout the day. Available any day during our opening hours.
