Enjoy a magical May Half -Term at Whitehouse Farm Centre with our exciting Character Week event, packed with family fun, unforgettable animal encounters, and themed entertainment for children of all ages. Located near Morpeth in Northumberland, Whitehouse Farm Centre is one of the North East’s most popular family attractions, offering a full day of indoor and outdoor activities whatever the weather.

What’s on?

Join us for special character appearances throughout the week, alongside all the farm favourites visitors know and love. Meet friendly farm animals, enjoy small animal handling sessions, take part in critter encounters, groom a goat, and experience our popular meerkat talks and feeds. Visitors can also enjoy bottle feeding lambs and our much-loved daily tractor rides, making this a fantastic May Half Term day out for families visiting Northumberland.

Indoor and outdoor play options:

By far the best hands-on farm visit in the UK! The farm wasn’t crowded, which made the visit even more enjoyable. There were plenty of activities for kids including a fun tractor ride that they loved.

I don’t often write reviews but this place deserves the effort. There is so much to do and we had a lovely day. The staff were all brilliant, and the place is very clean and well looked after.

The hard work and money that has been put in is incredible. The toilet facilities are amazing. There was loads for them to do and we stayed for about 5 hours.

First visit and definitely not the last. Second visit for rest of family including 3 year old and they love it too! So much to see, do and interact with. Able to pet snakes, rabbits, guinea pigs.

We absolutely love Jake who spends his time walking round, he’s so friendly. You can tell the animals are happy and well cared for, the little goats were roaming and playing with each other.

From entering we were greeted and seen to quickly, we went to the cafe for a quick bite to eat and the staff again friendly, attentive and couldn’t have done anymore to help!
